The problem
New tools can lower the cost of writing code, producing content and handling routine requests. Yet a company still needs judgment, accountability and a way to coordinate the work. More output does not automatically remove those bottlenecks.
Our working thesis
Small teams may gain the most from products that complete a bounded workflow, surface exceptions and leave consequential decisions with a clear owner. The opportunity may be in fewer handoffs, rather than a larger collection of assistants.
What would help us learn
We would want to see a recurring workflow completed with less coordination, a visible reduction in dropped tasks and a clear account of when a human needs to intervene. Time saved should include setup, review and recovery from errors.
