We are particularly interested in first-time founders. A first company comes with unfamiliar decisions, but it can also begin with a perspective that others have overlooked: a frustrating process, an underserved customer or a better way to put technology to work.

How we think
At the beginning, a founder rarely has a complete answer. We pay attention to how they work toward one.
Can they describe the problem precisely? Have they listened to people who experience it? Can they explain what they have learned, what remains uncertain and what they intend to test next?
We value clear thinking, resourcefulness and a willingness to revise an idea when the evidence changes.
