A demonstration can select the input and guide the interpretation. Real work arrives in inconsistent formats, with missing context and consequences for mistakes. The distance between those settings is where many promising products struggle.
Our working thesis
Products that define a narrow job, make uncertainty visible and fit an existing decision process may earn trust faster than broadly capable tools without clear boundaries.
What would help us learn
We would look for repeat use on naturally occurring tasks, a record of failure cases, the time required to verify results and evidence that users can recover when the system is wrong. A good test includes the tasks that make the product uncomfortable.
